As much as I love summer, Fall is the greatest time of the year for me! Football and hunting are 2 of my favorite things in the world. I can not watch enough football during the fall, and I can’t get out hunting enough either. There is something about Fall that makes me so happy to be alive. I don’t know which is better; going to the first football game of the year, or sitting in my favorite hunting spot for the first time. Both of these experiences bring on so many emotions that I am getting all giddy about it just writing this post. I love summer and I enjoy getting ready for the hunts by shooting and scouting, but there is nothing like the real thing! I can’t wait for Fall to be here and it is only a little over a month away! Although it is over 100 degrees outside, I can feel it coming!

A good argument, but I’ll still keep late summer. Late summer means archery season and the baseball playoffs - and college football is going on. Now, those are the three things that just plain make me happy!

The fall is my favorite time of year. I love the cooler weather, the color of autumn and yes football.

I love fall! I could be a one-season-a-year guy as long as it was fall. Nice and cool, but not cold, the leaves are turning, the elk are bugling, the yardwork is winding down, corn on the cob, and best of all… HUNTING SEASON!
This fall will be great for us because my wife and I are going hunting in Africa. Can’t wait!
