So, we now have 15 days before the opener here in Utah. I can't believe how fast it has gotten here. I have been scouting for the last 8 weeks and I have seen a lot of great bulls so far. I will show some pictures after the hunt is over of what I have been seeing (I don't like to show pics before). It looks like my dad and I will be packing in and spending the first 4 days of the hunt sitting on some great water that I have found. I hope that we can get his bull out of the way right off the bat so that we are not so pressured towards the end of the hunt.
We have a total of four tags to fill out of our group of addicts, and that is a tall order to say the least. I will be hunting with my dad and Jason and Allen will be hunting together. If anyone has any tips for hunting in pairs in mid August I would love to get them. It helps that I have been able to scout the unit twice a week. The area that I plan to hunt on the opener has been holding at least 17 bulls so I hope we can get one or two to hit the water (and then the ground
).
