Took my 15yr old, 13 yr old, 9 yr. old sons on their first Youth Deer Season hunt. We got up at 0430 Sat. morning headed to hunting sight. The 13 yr old wanted to hunt a field but it was across creek. So I told them to wait on bank while I test the dam that went across the creek. I was carry blind on my back and carrying a chair in right hand. I stepped out on the rocks, then took another step and would you know the rock rolled that I stepped on loosing my balance and I fell in the deepest side. Trying to touch the bottom of the creek with my hands and I couldn't just stinking to bottom. I finally found the bottom and I pushed myself back up to the top. It was around 0630am and that water was so cold it took my breath away from me. I finally was able to stand up and water was about 5' 9″ deep. I managed to step back up on the dam but my footing I fell in again. I noticed the chair I was carrying was floating back down the creek so I wanted until I was able to reach it. Once I got a hold of it I threw it up on the bank. I got back up on the dam and I fell again landing on my right knee, I heard some loud popping from that knee. I finally made it back to bank and on dry land. My 15 yr. old son was wearring my hunting shirt and he took that off and I took my wet shirt off. We went over and set up the blind and stayed until 1030am. I got cold and wanted to get out of the wet clothes so we went home. While I was in creek my three boys was on bank yelling and screaming. We managed to see 4 doe's but they was to far.
