Hunting Equipment

All I’ve got to say to my brothers post bellow is once you start buying fishing equipment you almost need to create a monthly budget for it. I love equipment I’m the kind of guy that loves to go and just browse the stores for the latest and greatest equipment. Here are some of the items that I found this year.

Under Armor face Mask- Under Armor has come out with a camoflage face mask. This is great for staying warm and also as a cover up.

Under Armour ColdGear Balaclava Hood

Ideal Use: Cold weather base layer for warmth without bulk. ColdGear, Under Armour’s most technical line, is made from a double-sided fabric that wicks moisture away from the skin and circulates body heat. It’s the ideal cold-weather base layer, perfect for the working-and-waiting transitions the outdoorsman faces. Built in a compression fit to keep you warm and dry without weighing you down. Machine wash. One size fits most. Made in USA.

Luepold Range finders- I’m an archery addict. Luepold has come out with a range finder that can calculate yardage on angles. One of the biggest chalenges is when hunting on a steep hill being able to calculate the correct distance down the hill. This is elliminated with this range finder. You key in on the spot and it will tell you the actual yardage of 70 yards then it will tell you the shooting yardage of 50 yards. A great tool for Archery hunting.

Leupold RX-I Laser Rangefinder

Leupold’s RX series of laser rangefinders sets new standards of rangefinder performance and incorporates a wide variety of functions, including the choice of 13 reticles thanks to Leupold’s Match 13 Reticle System. Easy to use thanks to the fold-down rubber eye cup, advanced digital instrument panel with digital signal processing, and clicking fast focus eyepiece. Quick setup and adjustment with the Quick Set Rotary Menu, allowing you to customize your RX to the situation quickly and use multiple modes at the same time when conditions call for it. RX rangefinders also provide temperature readings thanks to precision digital thermometer. Trustworthy, with accuracy of ?1 yard time after time. Includes tripod adapter, belt case, and comfortable carrying strap. The RX-I gives you plenty of performance and accuracy in an easy to use rangefinder. It sports a wide field of view and powerful 6x23mm optics. Expect accurate measurements out to a whopping 750 yards, with measurements listed in feet, yards, or meters. Set up the RX-1 quickly for the hunting situation you find yourself in with the Quick Set Rotary Menu and Match 13 Reticle System. Choose the best one of 13 reticles for the hunting situation and then select the best mode (or modes!)for where you are. It even includes a digital thermometer to help you know what to expect from your game as the temperature changes! Gorilla Tree seat – Gorilla has come out with a tree seat that is light weight that can be straped to any tree. A nice solution to a resonable ground set up. Much more comfortable then the traditional log or rock.

Even a Gorilla has a soft spot! The AirRide? seat is made with 3 layers of thick, high-density, open cell foam. The dual chamber air cushion provides unmatched comfort for the life of the seat. Gorilla Deluxe Cushion Seat with Backrest 2-piece 19″x12″ dual-density cushion camo seat with attached 12″x19″ backrest. Features straps that easily secure to trees for quiet all-day comfort.
